Go dive Today with no experience and no certification needed!The Discover Scuba Diving Experience is for people who want to experience diving without doing a course.
Under the direct supervision of your personal qualified instructor you will receive a short skill development session in shallow water deep enough to stand up in, allowing you to comfortably adjust to your first breaths underwater.
When your confidence increases your instructor will take you on a full open water dive, descending into the clear turquoise waters of Lake Wakatipu to explore.
Keep your eyes open for passing trout and eels, swim around a sunken wooden barge or along the lakes steep rock walls and admire the fresh water sponges and find tiny blennies defend their territory.
Experience a sense of deep relaxation, tranquility and the excitement as you explore the underwater world.
You will use full scuba equipment including an arctic rated semi-dry suit or drysuit. In our suits you will stay warm even in the coldest of conditions!
You only need to bring a sense of adventure and be in good health.
